As per title - How long does the battery for you leccie trolly last.

At my home course I get a new 36 hole battery every year - play 3 times a week in summer and once a week during winter. But the course is very hilly and seems to be the cause of the battery destruction.

Had my 36 hole battery for 3 year now and still going strong, wouldnt be happy if I had to replace it every year... and our course is very hilly!

I play 2 or 3 times a week with my Freeway 2 with the std 18 hole battery which is now 2 years old and it still shows as only being half discharged after every round. I always give it a full charge after playing and haven't had any battery problems (can't say the same about the trolley though!).

I've also played 28 holes in the same day without it missing a beat on quite a few occasions.

I've had my trolley with 18 hole battery for 3 years now and it's still fine. It probably slows down a bit more towards the end of a round now than it used to, but I can still get 36 in a day if I nurse it a bit in the first 18.

My course isn't hilly at all, but I wouldn't be happy replacing it every year.

My current GK is a couple of years old and going fine. I can get 36 out of it if I need to although not recommended to do it on a regular basis or on a exceptionally hilly course. I can play hilly tracks and get 18 out of it no sweat and it copes with my flatter track with ease. Of course I could mention the fact that if it did die the famous GK after service would kick in :o  ;)

Unless you play golf in the Alps I would think that either your charging regime is wrong or there is something wrong with your charger.

For instance, do you put it on charge as soon as possible after every round or do you sometimes try to get a second round out of it another day before recharging?

How old is your charger and is it 2 or 3 stage?

After posting I realised I have had my 36 hole battery about 20 months and its starting to die (just about doing 18 when course is wet)- so I get approx 2 yrs out of it, seems to be the norm for a 36 hole battery at ours as all my playing partners are talking about it - hence the post.

Thus I am a baloon and I dont know the difference between 12 and 20 - sorry :(
