So after my failure in last weeks medal (115) went out this morning with the aim to equal my pb of 90 - didn't bother checking my total after 9 as I knew I was playing better. Played out of my skin on the back 9 with 5 pars and 2 birdies for a gross 79! This included a 7 on the par 3 17th (two pens) . I'm obviously over the moon (doubled my total birdie count ever!) suppose next target is to match par. Goes to show how different I play without pressure. Out of interst anyone know how much I would have been cut if this was a medal - net 51 (hc /28) SSS 68?
Can't waif till Sunday medal now

wow thats some score .. shows there is a game there & looking to get out jeez if youd pard or bogeyd 17, gud stuff well done if you play like that youl be down to 12/13 ish in no time , im happy with breaking 80 & im off 9 .. keep it up

Very well played!

If you'd scored that in competition I think you'd find that as well as the Congu cut you'd have been further cut by the handicap comittee.

I've never broken 80, it's one of my targets for this year.

Good luck. However as a word or warning it is always much harder with card and pencil in hand. OK we all know its between the ears but just be prepared in case it doesn't go to plan. However on that form I can still see a cut coming
