how interchangeable are shafts?

Can you just swap a shaft from one club to another, have got a Nike covert stiff shaft and been given a regular shaft from a rbz driver. I need regular was hoping I could change them over..

If you have the adaptor fitted you can put any shaft you want into the club

And if they are glued in, the hardest part about changing a shaft is not melting the ferrule with the blow torch

Pretty easy to do, though there are a few pitfalls - occasionally the diameter of the tips are different.

Shaft stiffness isn't the most significant attribute btw. And better to spend a bit more on a 'proper' shaft than use the stock 'made for a price' ones imo. That said, if it works, then great!

And of course every manufacturer has their own adaptor - some have 2 or 3 and one won't fit the other...they don't want to make it too easy.!

Those will not be interchangeable as the come standard but if you get hold of a nike covert adaptor you'll be able to get that fitted onto the RBZ shaft and then put it in the covert head.
