How far.........

Nairn is about 18 miles, takes about 20 mins half an hour depending on traffic. Tain is 40 miles and takes 40 mins to an hour again depending on traffic

According to Google Maps, I live 2 Miles from my Club. Interestingly enough, I live just off the 1st hole on a different golf club and my girlfriend lives along side the 14th hole at my club.

Keeping it local.

It can be 3 hrs one way and 3.5 way home depending on traffic. Its 180ish miles there and 180 back. But due to brexit ive grounded my heliwopter otherwise its 45miles as the crow flies. I play at least twice a month

My club is only about 3 miles from my house, so usually less than 10 minutes drive. I don't drive myself, so I normally get a lift with my mate who joined the club at the same time, but if I want to go down on my own I can Uber it for less than a tenner.

20 miles, 30 minutes quiet/40 in worst traffic.

I often feel it's too far to just nip there after work, so practice at a local course that really isn't up to much (but only costs £4 on Teeofftimes). Trouble is when I get to mine on a Saturday the greens are a different ball game. Which is an issue, because it's a ball game.

Four minutes by car for me but if someone builds a heavy duty drone I will be on the 1st tee in 30 seconds.

Less than 2 miles, could walk it easily if I wanted to.

I'm lucky enough to have over 50 courses to choose from within a 20 odd mile radius, they include the Old Course, Kingsbarns plus some other real crackers.

The 6th tee is at the bottom of my garden, so if the fence gate is open and I have shoes on, clubs on my shoulder and get a shift on, I can be on the tee in around 30 seconds! If I want to play from the 1st tee then it's no more than a 3 minute drive to the club.
