Open a free account on Photobucket.com and as you upload each post you will then see the code under it, copy it and paste it onto the test box on here, as long as you have the full link and its wrapped in
it should display 100%

Viscount, most sites work like that fine. flikr is a bit strange, basically if there is no code alredy made up for it, right click on the image, use your mouse to select the URL for the image and right clic the highlighted text an copy it.
for example http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1167/551706187_2481942b66.jpg?v=0
Note, this on its own will not show the pic, rather it will open when clicked on.
If you want to link and display the image on the page, you need to use the
tags or click on the image wrapper tool on the create new post page.
as below
Also note, iI had to remove the ?v=0 so the url ends with the .jpg

Good pic Atticus.

Was that from the open?

It gives us the chance to post pics we have taken at various comps etc. or even some of our gear lol.

I think if i remember right it's from the final round of this years Open. I seem to remember Ernie wearing this ensemble.
Not sure though. It's just the first golf pic I got from google to try it out.

If you want to post your own pictures then as brendy has said open a photobucket (or flikr) account; this will generate a url for the image.

If the image is on the web it will already have a url, so open Properties on the image and copy its url.

Thereafter compose your message, make sure you have Preview Reply selected, and Continue. The Preview window opens.
Edit your message, select Image and paste the copied url in the pop-up window. When you select Continue on your Edited message you should see the image in your re-generated Preview.

My home course, The Merchants of Edinburgh, nice wee parkland course in Edinburgh.

Wish the weather was like that this weekend.

yes two different holes. The RH short hole actually tees off from the top of the hill, tee is just to the rhs of Edinburgh Castle which sits in the background. LH geen is the 15th which tees off up in a corner with the 14th green to it's left. There is a fairway bunker just short and right of the 14th green and the 15th tee is almost directly above this bunker.

Makes for some interesting golf at times if the wind is blowing hard.
