How do you guys mark your balls?

any thought go into it? special marks/shapes that mean something to you?

mine for eaxple are

i play with 1,2,3 numbered balls these get a simple but special mark

1 numbered balls get a 3 after it, and 3 numbered balls get a 1 before it, represnts the 13 the day of the month my daughter was born on

2 numbered balls get 5 after it to represent the day of the month my son was born

4 numbered balls get 4dots in a diamond shape on the top, bottom and sides

I mark mine with 3 red dots and by the way nike gear is rubbish

<----- Got custom balls printed with my avatar. Then I usually fill the numbers in with different colour sharpies so I'd have a red 1, blue 1 and green 1 etc so that if I tee up a provo randomly reaching into the bag I'm not likely to be unable to differentiate balls if I use the same numbers.

3 red dots in a triangle, search the OOB on both sides of the 4th at my club for many examples

Line under the brand name and a circle round the number - both sides

Dont need to mark mine as everyone at my club plays with Srixons and I lose a ball every couple of holes anyway

My initials, everytime I come up with a clever pattern I forget it, so initials it is seeing as I can usually remember my erm, er, name

I call it the anguished golfer as it symbolises a lot of my game

Single red dot top right of the number - on both sides - clean and tidy - not distracting

Usualy only play titlest & i put 1 black or blue dot just top right of the number on both sides of the ball

Three black dots under the number on both sides unless its a GM event and I've been using Pro V with Homer on them (at least to start with)

Nobody else that I have played with ever uses Wilson Staff so fairly easy to spot my ball and the shallow dimples mean that I can spot it from any angle. In comps I always mark my ball. Tend to put a GB in a circle on it.

Spend less time thinking about how your balls are marked and more time on your first tee shot.
