How would you grip the club on a full swing?

Me, I'd say I have an interlocking grip and is neutral (depends on what you call neutral! :D )
Just added a poll to see if the interlocking grip has taken over the overlapping grip!

I had always used interlocking grip half way through this season when my pro changed it to overlapping. wow! it has totally freed up my wrists and it has helped me reach my target of 18.0.

Imagine if you held it right! lol, only joking!!!!!!

Base ball. The only grip which truly allows you to thrash at the ball like a strimmer. Oh, but I interlock to putt. Get a bit of control with the old putter. Nice.

After accidentally whacking my left index finger with a hammer earlier this year I had to change from 16 years of interlocking to overlap. I'd rather go back to interlocking but can't as it still hurts like hell when I try. My left side is totally messed up now, dodgy finger, bad wrist (which felt like it was actually broken today as it was that painful) and even my shoulder aches somewhat and 'clicks' a bit if I do shoulder rotations. I know that I should hang up my clubs as my entire game has gone to pot but I'm desperate to end up an 80 year old man pottering his way around the course grumbling to myself

Up until this year I had always used the interlocking grip - read an article by Harvey Pennick who suggested that Seniors might benefit from using the baseball grip - tried it and not only can I strike the ball cleaner and further but I have reduced my handicap to 12!!

In contrast to Tim above iv large hands but use an interlocking grip....
By all of what im reading about grip apperantely this is wrong that i should be using the Vardon grip......
I find this pretty awkward though and im reluctant to change....

I've small hands and started with the interlocking grip, not sure what I was doing wrong my my little finger hurt like hell so changed to overlapping and not had a problem since.

exactly the same size hands as Jack Nicklaus and an interlocking grip - unfortunately without the same results.

spoff - that happened to me when I started, eased off when I stopped trying to strangle the club - you were probably gripping too tight.
