How do I train myself not to pull in on the downswing?

Sometimes I manage to hit the sweet spot on drivers and irons, sometimes I miss completely (I’m pulling my arms in, I’m sure) and sometimes I hit the ball on the offside edge.

I’m obviously pulling in on my downswing and missing the sweet spot.

Is there a way that I can train myself out of this at home in front of the net?

Home nets are ok if your just keeping loose but imo they can cause faults you can’t see.
A proper golf shot you need to see the flight of the ball ! Or Trackman.
Sounds like your path is out to in but without seeing it it’s hard to tell.
A lesson will give you something to work on.

Imagine you're trying to hit a ball that is at shoulder height so you're swinging on a line (plane) parallel with the ground.
Just keep swinging backwards and forwards, backwards and forwards without stopping.
Then gradually, tilt/bend from your pelvis down and lower the plane until the club is brushing the grass.
That should help

When I’m 6ft in front of the net and the ball goes into the neighbours garden, in know something is very wrong. Also had the same thing at the range yesterday. Some great drives, many into the net separating the bays, or just topping it.
