I did it on the London Eye. No one on our pod noticed as they were all looking out but loads in the pod below saw. They were all waving and smiling up at us. I knew she was going to say yes as she had pointed out rings to me.

I asked my Mrs on the London Eye too, on Valentine's Day. Like you nobody else in the pod noticed.

Not quite

Indians, just not in our culture to propose. We did meet at work so not an arranged marriage.

Proposed on holiday in Portugal. Found a magical spot by the harbour in Alvor, and got down on one knee. Got married 18 months later in the Bahamas, just the two of us at Sandals . 14 years later we're still doing pretty well.

My girlfriend and I were having a chat and we decided it seemed a nice idea to get married. We bought an engagement ring from a jewellers shop part of the walls of Wells Cathedral; booked a night in a hotel in Stow-on-the Wold and over dinner I took out the ring and gave it to her. Job done (no bended knee)

Done the deed at the same place as we first met.

That was at a bus stop in Rayleigh high street, on one knee, luckily she said yes, life would not be the same without her.
