How can 2 days be so different?

Im sure i want be the only one who had two completely different rounds this weekend.
Yesterday was a pairs comp 3/4 handicap stableford 40 points between us,i scored on 6 holes and played awfull.
Today 44 points on my own,7 birdie putts of which i sank 2,missing a two footer as well.
I didnt feel i did anything different today golf wise,but i definately felt i was concentrating better.
I await my new handicap.

Great scoring and I wouldn't worry about it. A cut is a cut. I played rubbish yesterday in terms of ball striking and scoring but hit it better today and still ended up with the same score.
