Hoping for a cut

I played in the Pro's stableford this morning and scored 41 points. It was off the yellow tees, so won't automatically get a cut.My long game felt really good but I definitely dropped 5 or 6 silly shots around the greens.
The Pro informed me that any score over 40 points gets forwarded to the handicap sec. I had 2 blobs and 4 one point holes, so I had several 3 and 4 pointers.
I'm hoping to get a couple of strokes off my handicap. I'm taking lessons and spending a lot of time on my short game.
On the practice ground & practice green it's coming together, I just need to carry it onto the course.

Bt the way whats South Bradford like? I have moved just round the corner from it and walk the dog down the nature reserve quite often that runs along side it.

I really like it. It's not a patch on Cleckheaton but it's friendly, in good nick and very cheap. There's plenty of mid week comps and I think the pro is a very good teacher.

A few of the lads from work (BASF) are members at Cleckheaton so I goet the occassional round down there.

I got cut by 0.5. I had 9 holes this morning with my geriatric old brother and scored 22 points with no blobs.A good round is on the horizon and with it will come a larger cut
