Homer in TG!

Got to be honest and say TG is the one magazine that I do avoid, I just don't like it at all. I'd buy Bunkered before I read TG.

GW is a decent read.

Homer if you whore yourself you'll always get a taker eventually.

Well done.

Editing tips from TG? Just keeping an eye on the competition...

HJS is on page 19 - extolling the virtues of walking rather than taking a buggy. Well written piece

Not all that well written, but I suppose it is for TG, so more than 2 syllables is pretty high-falutin.

Anyway, "Buggies are the antipathy " quoth the venerable Homer, perhaps slightly paraphrased.

Oops.

"Homer has a strong antipathy for buggies ..". Correct.

"Buggies cause a strong sense of antipathy among traditional golfers" Also correct.

But
"Buggies are the antipathy" Incorrect.

Let's just say the final publication bears only a nodding resemblance to the piece submitted

What did you submit? Something along the lines of "I hate buggies! You look like a right knob!"

The editor of TG had to add a bit of padding.....

Scandal. Does it involve loose women and Ping clubs. If so, I approve. :)

Well done Homer!

I hope that when you make scratch standard in writing journalistic articles, you'll be keeping your allegiance to the greatest and best.....The Sunday Sport. :D

Hold on, that's not right.

Golf Monthly!!! :)
