I suspect Heysel would rather be forgotten than remembered.
I suspect Heysel would rather be forgotten than remembered.
I said rather forgotten. Theirs a difference. Then you would suspect very wrong
It's not forgotten by anyone.
It's not a contest to see which tragedy gets more coverage or recognition
Bradford is remembered every year
Heysel is remembered every year by Juventus and Italian Clubs
The families have kept Hillsborough in the public eye - Liverpool FC recongnise it every year and hold a service for it.
It's been given extra focus this year due to the 25 Anniversary.
Personally i think you cant count yourself lucky you feel this way ..I know this post may upset some people, but I am absolutely sick to the back teeth of of all this Hillsbrough crap.
Matches kicking off today at 3.07. Then 96 seats left vacant at wembley, for heavens sake just let it lie.
Whilst I sympathise with those who lost relatives in this tragic event I am just so so sick of keep hearing Hillsbrough, Hillsbrough.
There wasn't this much or any fuss made over the Bradford fire disaster.
I haven't said its a competition, I have just said they should be treated equally. As someone who doesn't remember it happening, I can only say that it still has a lot more coverage than any other tragedy. I fully support the quest for justice. I was simply suggesting that it does get more coverage than others and I don't particularly think that that is right. Bradfor may be remembered every year by their fans, but that haven't had fixtures rearranged in their memory (I am not saying it was wrong to do so).
