As the title suggests.

Do you tee your driver?? high, medium or low?

High = Ball above the crown
Medium = Half ball showing above the crown
Low = All Ball below the crown

Is there a right and wrong way?

Will different heights affect the ball flight or shot shape?

I have a 420cc R9 and currently tee the ball to a medium level. I'm thinking of teeing it to a lower level just to see what difference it makes.

Any opinions welcome.

Interesting, as I have recently teed my ball a lot lower with Driver and 3 Wood - the ball approx 1 inch from the ground. I have found so far that my ball striking has greatly improved so will stick with it. For whatever reason, teeing my ball really high didn't help me.

B medium i guess , i use the blue & white wooden tees , tee down to top of the blue line aprox , have tried teeing it lower but find i hit a very strong fade, too strong to comfortably control.. use 9degree ping G5 ...

used to tee my driver 50/50(half ball showing), but after reading something on here it seems modern drivers have the sweet spot lower in the face, ive now dropped to 75/25 (only a quarter showing) and im getting ball flight and more roll. If its wind behind i may tee it a little higher, or if im trying to hit a shorter drive.

Probably in between medium and low.

I can't hit it if it's tee'd up high. I used to have it higher but ran out of tees one round and was using short ones just with the tip in the ground and started hitting it more consistently.

Half the ball showing above the face, although I'm not that precise with it so it probably varies hole to hole.

I'll tee a bit lower if I want to hit a lower one.

I've now settled with medium-low unless I am driving into a headwind in which case I go a bit lower although I tend to start fading the ball a bit if I do.

I tee it very low or not at all with driver, if the club is resting on ground behind the ball the middle of ball is about the middle of club face. About half the drives I use no tee peg, just whack it off the ground, works well for accuracy but no height of course.

Doesn't a lower tee encourage a steeper swing, therefore more chance of a slice vs a high tee encourages a flatter swing...

Anyway mine's about a bit above B.....

For me depends what sort of shot I'm trying to play.

Wind behind tee it high higher or if I'm trying to hit a draw.

Into the wind tee it lower or if i'm trying to hit a fade
