Few friends are heading from Shropshire up to play West Lancs and S&A in early September and are looking for a not too expensive hidden gem to play on the Sunday .

Any ideas ?

Cheers :)

Delamere is a lot less than the ones you mention and is a cracker, Sandiway even more so.

If looking for cheaper again try Vale Royal Abbey on tee off times, Ive played it for £22-25 on a Sunday, and is a good little track. Warrington also.

check the opens out in the area if its a Sunday llangollen is immaculate that time of year and its on your way home .they also have a lot of opens

I was going to suggest Warrington but LB beat me to it, Delamere is a great choice but not sure how easy it is for visitors to get on, Vale of Llangollen is also a lovely course

Played Warrington with Dewsweeper ( his course, might be able to get you in on pals rates) it bladdered it down for 18 holes. But I loved it. Easy course to get to.
would deffo go and play again.
