My bloody father.

A few weeks back he found my MP32's in the for sale section of our local newspaper, so he brought them for me. He hit my MP 32 9 Iron and commented on how soft the feeling was.

He's just been in to see me (We work together) and asked if Mizuno MP 57's are any good?

Why? I ask

"Well" he says "There's a set for sale in the paper"

After I finish shaking my head, I ask how much?

"£70"

He shows me the pics and they are in pretty similar condition to my 32's (8/10)

So my question to the Mizzy fanboys of the forum is .......... Are they any good as I have no idea

Worth a punt?

For 70 quid? Without a doubt! Lovely clubs (though, I am biased ;)).

Not overly forgiving, but a joy to hit and they look great (to my eye anyway, others think the massive clunky arse on the back of the 58's look better, they are wrong ;)).

Definitely worth £70. You'd make money on them if you ended up putting them on eBay.

they are beautiful clubs and have the largest sweetspot of the MP range, for £70 it would be rude not to, min price on GB is £200 for ones in just 'ok' condition

P.S what magic paper is this?

I should also have added they aren't for me.

They are for my owd fella :D

You really can't go wrong for 70 quid. I paid £150 for mine and that was cheap. I don't know what he plays at the minute, but if he doesn't get on with them, as I said, you will make your money back (and more) fairly easily.

Darth, the "largest sweet spot of the MP range"? you could have fooled me :mmm:

I found the 57 very forgiving, esp the hosel;)

Well worth it, nice clubs heads, are a bit bigger than the 32 if my mem servs me well, def worth it for £70.

I still have an old 9 iron i use off the beach while walking the dog.

Steal! I got my "like new" 57s for £200, clubs above the 6 iron had been hit barely a few times! Now they look well used :D

Very forgiving, I have hardly played golf but shot 84 with them in the bag, I still got decent distance from toe shots and the short irons are a dream to hit! I am addicted to the feel off the face of them!

They are not the longest of clubs, I whack the ball a decent distance but can only get 140 out of the 7 iron, 150 on the best of hits.

I find coupled with the S300s I get a very high but not ballooning flight but with masses of spin!

For £70 I would take the guys hand off before he had time to realise that he should have sellers remorse...
Note: just in case the seller is someone on here or reads this I actually mean "£70 is a very fair and just price"...
