I was looking forward to a game this morning to get out of the house full of chickenpox and noisey children. Went for the morning pee and looked out of the window, later went downstairs to see this....Drat!

Priceless!!!
:) :) :)

No chance of a swing round here this weekend. Frozen daft yesterday. A damned good covering of snow today. :(

Anybody else absolutely brassed off with shovelling snow? Nice to see it's melting well. I imagine it'll freeze overnight and leave everyone with a hellish journey to work tomorrow.

At least it seems to be thawing quickly where I live. There is some hope that things may be back to normal by next weekend.

Set off this morning just as it started to snow, thinking no chance of playing. But, I was playing with the Captain, so thought I'd better make the effort.

By the time I'd got to the course, it was pretty bad; it had settled and was coming down heavily.

I walked into the (rather crowded) Pro Shop to be greeted by the Captain with "Great, you're here. Let's get going then."

My heart sank and my face must have been a picture as everyone burst out laughing before "Only joking!".

Thank God!

I swear i live in a bubble.

Every year it snows over most of the country but it is very rare that it snows here. Over the last month on and off most of the country has been covered in snow but i have hardly even seen a snowflake.

Oh well guess it's good for my golf :D

I played 18 holes in beautiful sunshine. Granted it was brick hard with frost and on winter greens however it was a cracking day, good to be out, nice walk, swinging ok, and our 3 ball was round in 2hrs 40mins.

Ideal.

You can keep your snow.

All the snow was cleared by 4pm today so hopefully we'll be open and on full greens during the week providing the snow stays away.

They came from another planet, they moved buildings and stole our crops, and they left white stuff everywhere.

Played this morning, teed off at 7.45 bloody cold and bone hard with lots of frost. Sun came out later and it was a bit more pleasant. Just good to get out.

My second shot at the short 4th highlighted the conditions. Wedge second shot came down onto green and bounced 30 feet into the air, over wall and on to railway line.

Did you enjoy it Andy? I am not its biggest fan,it's a tough track but so would many more courses if they had greens as wee as them.

Talking of Whores how was the 1st hole? ;)
