Help needed please, iv got a Cleveland furuel still on a shaft ( the bit on the end of the shaft ) how do I take it of ? Is it just super glued back on the new shaft ?

Thanks in advance

I'm not sure what you mean is it the connector to the head? If so a heat gun to melt the resin and you put it back on with epoxy resin choosing one of the many forms of araldite will ensure it survives a nuclear blast.

Depends how the ferrule was put on.
Sticking it in hot water can be enough to break away a little epoxy or a tight fit.
Heat gun might start melting the plastic.

Lyden, I would actually agree. At first I thought it said 'Cleveland' on it and that was why Golfdub wanted it off - now I am not sure.
Gamola golf is the place for things like this, just get the correct diameter.

Just steam it off over a kettle, if you need more grip then use something rubbery like an elastic band to help give purchase.

Remember you will need to know the shaft's tip size if you are replacing the ferrule. Also helpful if you know the outer diameter of the hosel as well, so you don't get over-hang (or under-sized) on the replacement.
