Help needed with New irons.....

So i've narrowed a search down, gonna ahve a drive round a few golf shops next week and try a few, never played for 15 years, got lessons booked, just wondered if anyone has any of the clubs listed what i'm looking at or had and got rid of them:
Wilson Staff Di9
Wilson Staff Ci9
Mizuno MX-100
Mizuno MX-200
Nike Ignite
TaylorMade Burner Plus
Roughly 300-400 quid for some prob will look for the cheaper ones at around 300 a set to be honest, whats ya think of the line up i've mentioned???

tried too asked for pics then he replied he'd sold them to someone when i sent him an offer, no worries can get a new set for 230 quid from a local golfstore if i plump for them

I don't think you'll go wrong with MX100s mate.
They are a very good GI club.

There all good choices but instead of the wilson picks......Get Ci7's or Di7's..If youhavent playedin 15 years id get the Di7's....I used themfor 2 years starting off and they are a good club...Nearly the same clubs with the old grooves and much less expensive than the 2 you picked......

I love my Di9s but the new Di11s are coming out October so you may get some good deals on the Di9.

Couple of things though, the lofts are way too strong ie a 5 iron is actually a 4 iron so only go as low as a 5 iron.

Also you will need atleast one gap wedge probably 2 between the pitch and sandwege ... id suggest get some £7 dunlop wedges from sports direct

I tried di9's when I tried my burners, still wish I'd brought them. I regret buying my 09 burners, so much sales bull sh*t and no better than my super steels

If you are going down the Wilson Staff route I would go back as far as the DI7s, great clubs at a bargain price now. Would also look at some of the Cobra models (I use SZs and love them) and perhaps the Callaway X series irons.
