Reminds me of a little related aside.
Many moons ago when I was just getting into the game I was hacking away down at the now defunct driving range at Kings Cross (now part of the euro tunnel complex at Charing Cross).
Momentarily looking up from from trying to wrestle with what I now know was an overly strong grip, the set up of a clown and the swing of a pantomime horse (no change there then) I looked behind me into the next bay as the sound of well struck irons was heard.
Surprised to see Mr. Robbie Williams belting out a series of smooth shots with Howard in tow sitting behind.
Height of their fame, money to burn, choice of clubs? - Mizuno
Good luck today, if your pro offers you the chance to play with them both before buying then personally I would take it. I'm sure after a few holes a winner will emerge naturally.
Although I went for Ping I wouldn't 'push' them. If I'm honest I really wanted the TM CGB's to be best for me but in my case the Raptures just worked best at that moment . Swings change and things feel different after a while but it's only the pro's that can affors to fettle on a week by week basis. The rest of us have to live with a decison made a one moment in time.
Whatever may be going wrong with my game at the moment, having got a set of decent clubs to play with, the issue of clubs has now dropped to the bottom of the doubts list. Whatever you go for that's probably the most important thing about new clubs isn't it? You can put the doubts over equipment to bed and (in my case) get back to contending with trying to grip a club with pantomime hooves
I'm off for a weekends' golf and will flag this thread and look forward to hearing the good news on sunday night.
All the best.
