I'm playing Redlibbets in April and it will be my first forum meet, although i have been on here for a couple of years.

What are your thoughts on chippers, black gloves, shorts, hybrids, are you a laser or GPS man and how's your putting?

Redlibbets - was good a few years ago. No idea now though.

That and the fact I'm scarred at losing to James, so have tried to wipe that painful memory from my mind!

Right - Redlibbets is a cracking course and has some great members (except Auburn Warrior who's a real *rse ).

Auburn, Have to say that redlibbets looked stunning this afternoon, couldn't play today, as forcast of snow caused problems at work(long story) but went for a nose and was not disapointed met with the manager and pro and will arrange to play next week.
Just me for the April "meet" and echo the sentiments regarding meeting fellow members.

Dont know what a chipper is will have to buy one to find out. Do ping make one?
Putting could be better is there some sort of aid on the market that would assist with alighnment?
Laser on the rifle GPS on the car, guesswork on the golfcourse
Shorts are what you wear on holiday.
Hybrids My Lexus is Hybrid dont think I can use that on the course but I do get 30 to the gallon so not bad.
Black Gloves and White trousers always.

It's a shame you didn't manage to play today but look on the bright side, it was cold today. Next week will be warmer...hopefully.
Word of warning - try and ignore Bob. He invented a coat hanger type implement that doubles as a training aid and a head cover holder. As per Aztec, it's made in Taiwan and will fall apart after the third use. Best to save your money and buy some iron covers and white trousers.
