Hello From Across The Pond

Maybe that's what happens! Mexicans had chilli beef and cheese with chillies in it for breakfast.... after raising eyebrows, I had it most days, blooming lovely! :D

I always wondered why the Scots ate haggis and the Welsh have "faggots!" Revolting items! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I’ve converted our friends who are over to chilli with grated cheese in it this week. Apparently, “it’s a taste sensation.”

Of only there were historical precedents we could look back on to see what happens when regional superpowers achieve the military might to try and spread their tentacles across the globe. ☹️

As I see it, Trump is doing to parts of the West what Putin wants to do with all the ex Soviet block contries and China is wanting to do with the Far East.
The fuse has been lit, with the precedent's set by Trump and his disciples.
Perhpas it's time to forget about global warming and everything to do with it. We aren't going to be able to have any influence on whats going to happen so perhaps we should just enjoy what we have now and forget the future, as Trump, Putin and Xi will be doing and taking what they want and anyone who disagrees will be done away with.

I heard the dynasty being compared to the Corleone family but unfortunately the sharper one like Michael Coreleone, is Donald Junior, who is in charge of the grift and Donald Senior, who is sadly in charge of the country, is more like Fredo.

When we were in Palm Springs recently we played golf with on two separate occasions with Canadians. Apparently a lot of them who owned properties in the area have sold up due to the current regime (one of their roll ups of 20 odd had collapsed as they weren’t enough still coming down). They said it was the same in Arizona and Florida which are also very popular with Canadian ‘snow birds’.

Really nice people apart from their bizarre habit of adding tomato juice to beer.

I must add that all the Americans we met, as ever, were really friendly as well and had similar views to the OP.
Say what 😳

My sister lives in Michigan. They live in an affluent, mainly white, community. Her circle of friends has diminished considerably as they are all Trump supporters and she can't keep quiet about her feelings. I'm surprised as I kind of thought it was the less educated red-neck types who supported him...

It feels a scary time for the world, never mind terrifying if you live in the US
