some is a bit questionable. They have announced a whole of sports based documentaries. see trams thread.
Is that worth paying £20 a month for is also very questionable
I am awaiting the full announcement and will probably make a quick decision to cancel if it is going to be full price.

There will be live sport from the middle of June so it’s only right that we will have to start paying for it. Sky have been excellent to allow people to freeze payments on Sports channels just as BT were

Will keep my eyes open on that...nice it being 'free' for the last couple of months - though haven't watched much at all - and so I might actually cancel it now
I don’t disagree, but they should have applied it to all their customers. We shouldn’t have been left to find our we could suspend payment.
I agree with the sentiment but in business how many companies would actually do the honourable and correct thing and stop everyone, rather than collect money from the lazy customer that didn't know or couldn't be bothered.

Just checked my bill. They are starting to charge in advance from 19th June, so hopefully that means they know something we don't...

It was very well published that you could suspend Sky Sports and in fact you can suspend it any time you want - just this time Sky kept allowing customer to watch their service.

yup, I almost halved my TV bill. and cancelled sports fully while I was there, I just don't watch it even before this corona rubbish, maybe 1 game every 6 weeks and that's only being half watched in the kitchen while cooking tea for example.

It may just be that future bills are showing the full subscription (mine is) but I have checked the website and got the message below so it may be that they won’t be charging yet. I haven’t received any emails in the subject

I tried cancelling mine today. Luckily I phoned rather than doing it online. All my current discounts are based upon having it and I would lose them all by cancelling it. The rep having gone through everything worked out I am effectively only paying £11 a month for sky sports until the end of my current contract.
