HDID and handicap notifications

Bit of a weird one. I got cut 0.4 the weekend before last. I checked the round on HDID that evening and sure enough it had my new handicap on the front page. However I've only just received the notification email today, some 10 days later! Good job I check things and don't wait for emails!

Would of thought the email would come through sooner but it is your responsibility to cut yourself if you are under SSS and not HDID to notify you a cut, such a cut is immediate you finish the comp and then adjusted once CSS is known. Only cuts mindyou cant claim 0.1's back.

Same for me this week - well not quite the same as I had a 0.1 back not a cut!!. Shows on the front page but no email yet - normally they arrive within seconds of each other.

HDID are not responsible for administering your handicap, that is your home clubs duty, (together with yourself if you know you are due a cut and are playing before your club publish the result).....HDID is just a convenient place for them to be displayed.
