Has anyone managed to play??

played on the clifftops of flamborough(yorkshire coast) today, nice links course, never played it before.i havent played a round since 13th december but ive been putting the hours in on the range,i played some of the most consistant golf ive played in the last year, putting wasnt great, ended up with 39 points,it was a cool wind that was blowing all afternoon but atleast me and the lads managed to get a course to play. the swing felt good and loose, can't wait to see if my home course will be open next weekend now!

Rang the club today to check if its open tomorrow and it seems there was nobody there - phone just rang and rang. And that was 2.30 this afternoon. :D :D :D

Got my first round on 7 weeks today at Montrose Medal,it was on full greens and in great nick considering the weather we have had.
I started well and was out in 39 but back 9 was terrible.

Still it was good to get a game. :D

My course was still closed today, but managed 9 holes on a local muni. Got to try out the new driver and putter. Wasn't the best of conditions, course was very wet and boggy in parts (nearly all fairways), but no temp greens, the sun was shining, and it actually felt quite warm.

Wasn't the round I hoped for, but was what I expected having not swung a club for nearly 5 weeks. Love the new driver, and putter though, both did what I bought them for.

Full 18 holes at Gullane 2 today. Full greens and tees. No preferred lies or mats. The greens were a bit slow but apart from that the course was great if very busy. 80 mile drive was the only drawback.

First game since the beginning of December, home course still closed (much to the annoyance of a number of the membership), payed green fees at another local course, 2 holes closed both 'mickey mouse' par 3's. Generally speaking the course was in amazing condition considering the thaw. Terrible temp. greens though.

Was great to get out on a course again! :)

Home course will be open during this week and straight back into club comps

Like a lot of people have not played for ages, course was open yesterday no temps.

Joined a bunch of guys I know managed to shoot 76 gross mostly due to putter and short game.

who says a lay off doesn't help.

Course open today - but only 7 holes and they're pretty wet. Was going to go down but the knee's a bit sore today so I'm not going to risk it for the sake of 7 soggy holes. Should be fully open friday - assuming we don't get buckets of snow they forecast for wednesday.

Phoned course this morning and its open but all temps cos its still frozen. We're never on main greens this time of year anyway

Think i'll pop up this afternoon for some practice and may even do a few holes for the walk

No went down there on Saturday & the course was still closed, hasn't been open since the 19th December. No snow or frost left now so it may be open today with temporary greens.

We are hoping to open tomorrow. Popped in on Saturday afternoon, all the snow has gone but the greens are like duck ponds as the thaw sits on top of the frozen ground underneath.

Things are so bad at the moment that I am even contemplating going to the range :(
