Has anybody got a pair of these (or similar)......

My black AQL's are getting a little tired, looking at these as an alternative.

They look as if they would nice and light, and quite like the idea of the BOA lacing system but not sure how good it would be compared to traditional laces.
Any thoughts???

Smiffy, I haven't had the Cntour style but I did have the FJ ReelFits with the BOA lacing system and it was fantastic. You just slip them on and turn the dial and hey presto. It gave constant support throughout the round and had no need to tighten them at all. The thin wire looks weak but is incredibly strong. When your finished your round you pull the dial our and ... instant freedom.

Haven't had the reelfit but I have got Contours.

Think I might go for them then.
Cheapest I've seen them online is £72.00 delivered, so they are only a few quid dearer than AQL's.

Make sure you get the right size.
If they're a smidgen too big, you wont be able to tighten them up enough

I've got a mate who swears by them. They are the most comfortable shoes ever apparently.

I always buy FJ's over the 'net Bob and usually size 9 are perfect (perfect) for me.
I have two pairs of AQL's of a similar style (white) which fit and feel like carpet slippers mate.
I'm fairly confident in Footjoys sizing.

Smiffy my dear old thing. Let me know how you get on with these. I'm looking at them too. Shame FJ don't have the same choice here as the US. The do the same style as this with laces there.
