To be honest, in my experience the only thing that begins at 40 is your body falling apart.

Bob, my target was single figures by 40, now that should read.....single figures whilst 40...,41, 42, 43, etc.

Yes I know the years haven't been kind to me don't rub it in.

BTW I struggled out of my bed on the Saturday morning after the late night before and made it to the course (30 mins late) and my return was a very respectable 39 pts.

Moral of the story? Drink more the night before, expectation less = better golf
