Just in case you dont know I threw the toys out of the pram 3 months ago, quit club membership and not swung a club since, a friend persuaded me to play last night, some encouraging numbers:
2 great playing companions
2 birdies
2 3 putts
2 fly hacks in deep jungle
2 shots under h/c on a course i've never played
0 shanks.
Nothing great but a whole lot better than I expected, nett 70 on a strange course wasn't bad, but the thing that put a smile on my face was the amount of iron shots I hit really flush, never hit a real clonker all evening when considering I was shanking putts 3 months ago was a huge plus.
