Handicaps what's normal?

I'm the same now that the clocks have changed I get one round a weekend! Try and do some work on the range of poss it helps me a lot to hit some balls between rounds or have a swing in the garden etc. my best rounds have come from keeping the ball on the fairway and if not taking the sensible route to getting it back on again! If your hybrid is your go to club and your confident with it just use it more! I did the same my new driver loves the right! First tee slightly right but got away with it, second tee with it boom, the next three times I used it were pants so on the back nine I ended up just leaving it in the bag and played much better!

I hear ya mate, I can't practice at the ranges here as they are not floodlit nor is the weather conducive to doing that in the winter. Instead I have built my own practice area in the garage (heated) so I can at least hit some balls over the winter....

Bummer! I've got a weighted swing trainer I use it when I can't get to the range and to help me warm up.

I've added you as a friend on golfshot so will be stalking those stats! Mine are very similar!

Quick question in handicap... Since changing jobs my dad has become my main playing partner... I changed club and brought my handicap with me... He doesn't have one but I been in his case so we can play comps so I can get mine down and get some friendly rivalry between us. Am I allowed to do his cards with him? Or would it have to be with a longer standing member who got there handicap there

If you have a official Handicap you should be able to mark your dads card. it's the Handicap Sec you need to ask, some clubs like at least one card marked by a council member, a bit old fashoned but might also sevrve another purpose as well.
