All very nice, but what is your point :D

if that's the case when did you go from the 20.9 (after the Feb comp) to 18.4 as you are shown going up to 18.5 in the March comp then?

In March I played in the stableford comp, which very rarely show up on HDID but handicap changes do, I went down to 18.2 and now I have gone back up to 18.5 in one go. Doesn't make sense at all!

The problem is with HDID not the club. They have been posting the results but they have not been appearing on HDID and we are not the only club to have had this problem.
Due to being on holiday at the end of march/beginning of April I am only missing one comp result on HDID and in easily hit the buffer on it with 1 over par gross coming in second place so there shouldn't be a rise from that result anyway.

That makes you some bandit!

if the competitions don't show on HDID there is something very wrong somewhere - and it should get sorted.

the only way for you to resolve your current concern is to request a copy of your playing record; do it enough times and someone will spend the necessay time resolving the HDID process (their end or yours).

every single competition is processed via HDID (well C2000 but HDID is a simple front end) at our place.

Mine went up today by 0.1 for a comp I am not even eligible to enter!!. It appears that one of our Seniors entered the score under the wrong name!!

Just rang the club and they are sorting it BUT I only found out due to the HDIDO notifications

How many shots were you over your handicap after taking into account the CSS? If it's between 1 and 4 then it goes it goes up 0.1 but beyond that it adds another 0.1 for every shot by the looks of it according to http://www.handicapmaster.org/handicaps/Unified_Handicapping_System_Page2.php

not even looking at your link but your explanation makes no sense at all.

it comes down relating to the number of shots you play below CSS, at the rate applicable to your handicap category

it goes up 0.1 if you fail to play in your buffer zone, which is related to your handicap category.

it doesn't change if you play to your buffer zone

it never goes up more than 0.1

Indeed, it needs to be corrected.

Contacting the club to find out whether they know there's a problem should be the first step. The club may already know about it and it may be a problem at the club - bad/lack of internet access for example.

HDID is actually a back-end to the C2000 system - which my be in perfect shape. It automatically attempts to publish once a comp is closed. If there is a failure (no internet connection for example) then HDID - and maybe CDH if the club is registered - may not be complete.

Requesting a copy of playing record is unlikely to help - if the C2000 system is fine - as Playing Record will be tken from C2000.

Without looking at the link I can say with certainty that either...

1) The information in the link is incorrect

Or

2) You have interpreted it incorrectly

Handicaps never go up more than 0.1 for each round, ever

2) You have interpreted it incorrectly

is the right answer.

@Kinhell. Check the link again - it's correct.

Though by the looks of your sig handicap progress, if it's a complete reflection, you could have a similar issue to Andy!
