Handicap cut so far this year.

7.0 to 5.3 for me.

Played about 10 qualifiers I think.

And so begins the slow crawl back up to a handicap somewhat resembling my shocking golf!!

Started in January on 12 dead - then drifted up to 12.4 but just got a .8 cut that sees me back to 11.6 - so down .4 overall year to date.

Happy days so far.

Some very impressive improvements posted so far, keep it up

I've had a tiny cut and a few 0.1's to go from 4.7 to 5.0 :(

I worked out last night I've got 11 qualifying rounds coming up in the next couple of months at away courses - all bar 1 of them I've never played before.

If I'm still cat1 after all of those I'll be delighted.

With thanks to a new role at work (promotion) and changing courses at the start of the season, my handicap has gone up +1.2., tbh my handicap should be more like 7-8. Only playing once a week with zero practice, just lost my touch on and around greens. Oddly my long game is better than ever, but just not scoring when I get the chance

13.4 to 12.2 so far this year. Only 5 qualifiers as I've been playing inter club comps virtually all summer. 2x0.1's back, 1 buffer, 0.6 cut and 0.8 cut.

From 6.0 to 5.6... just bimbling along, doing nothing flash but not too many train wrecks either.

Putting some new TM RSi tp's in the bag for this weekend. Should be interesting.

Seriously impressed with the cuts above obviously some great golf being played, well done all.

Myself up to 6.6 from 5.6 by far my worst start to any season, funny enough im pleased with my game as I feel my ball striking has improved.

I feel the problem is motivation and concentration so hopefully I can work these two problems out and kick on soon.

Some top stuff being played by many, impressive.

Started the year at 1.7, now at 1.6 and the best was 1.3

Playing great at the range but having to scramble like a good un' on the course. Ever hopeful it will translate over at some point.

Started the year at 11.4, 3 0.1s later I was at 11.7. Couple of good rounds and I just missed my aim of being single figures by the end of the club championships with a 9.5 handicap!

Played on Sunday and just made buffer after hitting a tree on every hole. Went out for a matchplay tie the day after and was -2 gross through 12. Why won't it ever happen when I can get a cut!

Started at 4.4 and currently at 3.7, lowest was 3.4.

7 cuts
7 buffer or RO
7 0.1s

lol, didn't realise how symmetrical it was!

Haven't played many qualifiers in the last couple of months but have had some good "scores" in match play and when I get the new swing right I'm a much improved player on last year so I'm optimistic for the remaining qualifiers. Would love to nudge it back down to 3 and I don't think that's unrealistic.... easy to say.
