At my club we have a mid week roll up minimum hcp is 18, normally 4bbb format

My club hcp is 19 and i have a question abot my card marking

As i am handing in the card towards hcp it must be correct to my official 19 hcp, however for the 4bbb comp i am restricted to 18 so i am not sure how to handle this

Would i just note in my mind that i get a shot a hole yet for card marking enter it as normal based on 19 hcp when stableford scoring

Just fill in your handicap and your shots taken for each hole and submit the card. The handicap secretary/competition secretary have to do the rest. ;D

Thanks i understand but i also need to show my stableford score as in addition to the club comp the roll up takes the scores to see who has won the mid week game and cash is awarded etc
I know the card must reflect the true strokes, hcp and score but as i have to play the "internal" comp at the same time i am playing one less to my hcp if that makes sense

As its s 4bbb make sure you play out each hole completely and You will need your marker to mark a separate card to your 4bbb card.

Update.
Mark your card as per roll up but just get another card written out for your handicap card in the bar after?

let me see if I have understood this....

you are playing golf (hope I'm right so far)
you are playing 4BBB something - pairs matchplay? pairs stableford?
you are also playing an individual stableford - as part of the roll up? as a seperate roll up? as a seperate club competition?
you have a handicap of 19 - but you are putting a card in for handicap?

As you have an official h'cap, I assume you are wanting to put in suplementary cards? If so, a 4BBB comp that has a h'cap limit less than your h'cap is probably not the place to do it.

Also, if it is an official club comp, surely your h'cap has to be 18 for the purposes of the card. However, I am about as confused as you are :D

Sorry guys i didnt make it clear, the club comp is stableford, full hcp etc card goes in and hcp is adjusted etc, at the same time the mid week rollup group play as 4BBB and it is they who have the 18 hcp limit for their "internal" game within the actual club qualifier

Its hard for me to get my head round, but i play it as a standard stableford and mark card and enter result at the end, but the internal match 4BBB is a cash wager between the group of 4 but they fix the max hcp as 18.

surely the only way they can do this is to work the scores out afterwards, adding the best score of each designated pair from each hole.

Recipe for disaster IMO. How can you concentrate on the main event, the club comp, if you're also trying to think about your rollup match.

If the 4BBB is matchplay it's against the rules anyway ;)

As part of the 4BBB roll up are you giving/getting advice or playing out of turn in order to see lines on greens etc? That would be a breach of the Rules in relation to the individual stableford comp.
