Evening Guys & Dolls, Well my sets of Hakusa gear arrived today. I have a couple sets of Prototype Irons and they are simply stunning, I will be sleeping with them tonight. The wedges are here custom grind and the other sets of Cavity backs. Just awaiting the Blades as I have had them pured and it takes a little longer.

The Putter is stunning also and the Iphone images don't do justice guys, it feels quality, real quality!

Anybody want a set of Miura 3-pw + ,Wedges 12 months old lol :)

Someone half inched your shafts, you've been had mate!!!!!

I'll swap you two bottles of Irn Bru, a tin of Grants haggis and a nice bottle of Islay malt, plus I'll throw in a poke of granny sookers and a bar of Mccowans highland toffee for your old irons!

Cant beat a good selection of Scottish goodies in return for a bit of Japanese metal. I'd say your getting the best part of the bargain!

Evening dude, bad news is I am in the UK next week for a few days (driving over) so will be stocking up with Berties, Haggis, Scotch, and also soft sh**house paper. Will probably get some decent Peroni beer also! (seeing as the wife is away from 27th for 10 days) :)

It will be interesting to hit these once I put them together..

Probably KBS Tour 5.5 + not sure, got plenty of shafts but will probably make the 7 iron up and then see. The Blades arrive later this week, they have Stiff KBS Tour also.

Will soon find out tomorrow when I make the wedges up..

The Cavity heads are all around 247g, samle as Miura etc.

hope they are better in the flesh as dont look special in the pictures.

enjoy them

Apologies for images guys, Iphone is shite for that, can't find my camera, that's what happens when "other" peoples kid's run riot in your pad over a weekend!

The only thing I am not actively pursuing is credit card statement lol

they look pretty simialr to the vega anniversary cavities dont they, probably a catalogue head but they are still sweet. are they forged in kyoei, if so they will be buttery soft. ive had plenty of vega wedges in the past and loved them. if you dont like them then theres a good home here haha.

Yes indeed, They are a similar mould with tweaks "apparantly" very nice indeed. Hakusagolf.co.uk the Prototypes are not even their site yet. Custom grind is seriously professional job, exact grind on both ends...

As promised last week if I don't like them we will auction them off for charity on here, sound fair?

off to bed knackered and an hour infront of you.

I trust they have numbers on them and not just Japanese characters ot things could get pretty confusing out on course!
The cavity backs look very like Yonex V-Mass irons I had.
How many sets are you putting together?

wow they look great, be interesting to see what you have to say about them once they are together and hitting balls.

Nice one for the pics

Al

By my reckoning alwaysunderpar, youve bought 4 new sets then? Is this right? Ya flash git! :D

Evening Guys, Blades arrived today see below. I put two sets of Cavities together today and just back from the range. My "humble" opinion is they play better than my Miura blades, there is for sure better feel. I put the KBS on both with Iomic's (got a carton of them) Being a collector I try almost everything that's different.

The Prototype Cavities are simply gorgeous to look at and they will be going to my place down south. I havent had time to make up the Blades as yet but I think I might just put them into a Hakusa Tour Bag and leave them in my private collection, they are so good looking I don't want to hit them :)

My home office is very large and adorned with memorabilia etc so the black blades with be in there. I reckon these will be for sure a modern classic in years to come. The putter is nice also, everybody likes something different and this reminds me of an original Karsten I have (unused apart from carpet in office)

I bought in 5 sets + the putter and all the wedges, got an excellent deal from the UK guy. Value for money A+ as I am not easily pleased. No I haven't got more money than sense I just collect Golf items, Clubs, Signatures etc.

If your looking for something that feels like a blade but strikes and plays like a cavity try the Prototypes, possibly best cavities I have tried since Wishons.

If you are in the UK you should arrange a game with someof the forumers. They are generally a friendly lot ;)

Next week is now a flyer (excuse the pun) In on Tuesday and out again Friday - & I hate London) I would for sure next visit in November organise a day with guys on here, be really cool.. I will even put up the prizes you load of Bandits!

Looks familiar

Hmmm not quite the same mould buddy, remember the heads and hosel are one as with Vega Irons. There are alot of clubs that do look the same right? Ping year in and year out they produce the same old crap with a different plastic inserts.. lol

Be interesting to see comments on this..

There you go, answered your own question. Crap. Westwood doesn't use the clubs on sale in American Golf, I gaurantee that, neither do the others, not even close buddy. Tour players heads are completely different, fact.
