in my previous post I said I played ok on sunday with a net 71 in blustery conditions and crap greens

finished runner up with my 1st reduction of my h/c, CSS must have gone up due to the conditions.

still off 28 mind you as only 0.4 off :(

if only I hadnt missed a couple of putts as net 69 won it grrrrr

what a great feeling :)

its took forever cos css is usually 68 (par is 69), but due to the conditions obviously the scoring was pants.

Wasnt gonna play the monthly stableford on the 20th as its my birthday but v tempted now :)

I can only put it down to the unloseable nike pd soft with bob's smiley face logo!

Well done, after you get the first cut the next ones seem to come quicker, forget about the bad shots, you know if you cut them out next time you should come in with a good score.

for a high handicapper any sub 100 round is an achievement.

I like winter golf the course is shorter, the ball stops quicker and the greens have less break. When the summer comes round you always think this is the year...

I prefer damp and windy tbh. Always seem to play better. hard fairways and greens just dont suit me.

My home course will play longer, no winter tee's or greens but obviously less carry and a lot less roll.

sub 100 is my norm now, averaging around 93 but still balls it up in comps.
