Hey,

I’m currently on holiday in New York. My hotel has a golf channel, so I’ve had it on when resting.

GX-7 are massively advertising their clubs on the ad breaks, straight down the middle, 20 yards further etc. I am always interested in getting more distance but I’ve never heard of them. Has anybody heard of these? Have you ever used a GX-7?

Thanks

Old guy at my club has one. He was given it by his son in law. He loves it.

The snobbery around these types of clubs is fierce.

Most of the time they are intended to be on the super game improving side of things. In fact they have been doing it for longer than some of the major golf equipment manufacturers.

Looks to play like an old 2 wood.

These were quite a popular option back in the days of wooden woods, easier to get airborne and the shorter shaft gave better control, pretty much what the mygolfspy review says, the only false claim being distance equal to a driver, although even this could be true for some golfers if they make a better strike with the shorter shaft and increased loft.
