Not particularly but when someone generalises many posters on thread as knobs then defences will come up, especially given he knows nothing of what is actually going on in the thread and those who do know what the picture was all about reacted as expected (except for the man in question who either hasnt seen it or steered clear).

Socketrocket you are coming across as a bit of a tit, you may not mean to be but you are.
The op was obviously poking a bit of fun at a forum member who they knew and it was just a bit of fun, try chilling out a bit and not getting so wound up and upeset over everything.
If i'm not misstaken you got arsey with me with one of my posts a few weeks ago when i had 1 good round you suggested i was palying of a unfair h/c.
I bet a round of golf with you is full of fun and laughter..............................

The post want as for who it was aimed at, I'd almost certainly say no, if you read the replies to the OP you will see most posters are Scottish and all recently returned from meets or have attended meets with the Scottish lads.

For some unknown reason Socket Rocket has jumped in ( he may have a valid reason for doing so, but never explained it), and quite rightly the boys that were on 'the meet' have closed ranks and defended themselves. It was clearly a wisecrack about someone they all know personally and nothing more, time to put it to bed.

Yeah thats what i was thinking, if he doesn't personally know the person it's aimed at i can't see the problem as from what i can gather it's just a bit of fun between friends who know eachother.
If it was genuine nasty comments about someone then he has a point but it obviously isn't.
