My son has just had his clubs regripped with golf pride tour wraps, used them today and found they twisted when taking shots, has anyone else suffered from this ? Also some of the clubs don't seem to have grips aligned correctly as he says club looks to open at address. Not sure how grips are aligned, has anyone taken grips back and complained,I dont know how you can prove grips are not aligned properly. They were fitted by the pro at our local n1

You can prove it if they're not in line.....sounds like a botch up job TBH

They shouldn't twist if properly fitted. However you shouldn't use them within 12 hours of fitting to give time for the adhesive to set.

I had a set of brand new ping g25s delivered once and returned them after they were all set up so the club was open at address. I'd take them back as I doubt they can be reused. I normally fit my own but had the pro do my new ones yesterday as I ran out of tape.

Alignment will depend on the grips, some have marks, others try to do without ... not sure I trust alignment marks on grips anyway but obvious things like makers marks are usually obvious.

The adhesive tape shouldn't let the grips move, once the fluid has evaporated they should be rock solid.

The grips should never twist, get them back, I re grip my clubs myself and use multi-compound grips, I personally prefer the golf pride logo on the underside of the shaft to stop the look of un-alignment as it can be very difficult to get every club looking exactly the same.

Looks like you just need to take them back & point out the problems.... he should re-do them for free. Where'd you have them fitted??
