do any of you guys use these clubs , what do you think of the grips , mine dont seem very grippy at all and there seems to be a lot of cord and not a lot of rubber on them. Im thinking of changing them and wonder what you would reccomend grip wise.

cheers G

When I bought my Taylormade irons I paid the extra to get them with multi compound. And I have sonce changed my Taylormade grips on my woods and rescues to them also. I love these grips ad you have nice soft rubber under your right hand and a nice bit of cord under your glove hand. They give fantastic grip in the rain without ripping your right hand to bits when its hot, like you get with full cord grips.

I'm thinking of doing this with my Driver & 3 wood. I am also thinking about getting the shaft cut on the Driver as the length is 46.5. Thinking it may improve control a little. Anyone any experience?

The grip on my Dad's Superfast Burner driver wore through after about 8 months, but he does play 3 or 4 times a week.

He replaced it with a black widow grip, and after trying it I got one for my driver. It's nice and chunky and feels good and tacky in the hand. Was only £5.95 fitted too ;)

When I bought my Superfast 2.0 I had one weekend (Ballyliffin too ffs) with the standard grip and couldnt hold onto it properly as it felt very plasticky (same grip as R11 too) White golf pride grip now and feels a lot more planted in my hands so no excuses.

Had half an inch chopped out of my Callaway FT driver and FT 3 wood, made the driver stiff as hell, but worked a treat on the 3 wood, sold the driver now
