Last day of a week off work and have played 72 holes of golf over 3 days. Started with Gullane No.1 on Tuesday evening (it rained), Muckhart on Wednesday with Fairwayd Dodger and Munro007 (it rained), Kinghorn on Thursday morning (we played 3 holes in a Sea Haar, but it never rained) and finished with Pitfirrane Dunfermline last night (it rained, jeez did it rain)...

Weather conditions were awful but you know what, I didn't care a jot! Only issue I had was with my game. I think I looked forward to my week off too much and for the most part just didn't turn up. Did that bother me? No, not really. I was just happy to be out there, rain and all, hitting that little white ball around some good courses.

And next week... back to the reality that is work and a new job.

Hope everyone else has had an enjoyable week :D

Not too bad;

Played Grantown on Spey on Monday played ok but no putts holed still had 36 points though
Great weather throughout.
Tuesday Tain. Sunny all day. 12 skins.
Wed Nairn Dunbar in the afternoon, rained on and off 9 skins.
Thurs Castle Stuart, hot and sunny no wind, 20 points :( and was awful tee to green. None the less still had a great time course was in superb condition. The more I play the it the more I appreciate the course.
Playing Torvean in Inverness today, it’s blowing a gale a raining. Its rockness this weekend and the Curtis cup and the Olympic flame arrives in Inverness so bound to be crap weather all weekend,

cancelled 3 games in last 2 weeks due to rain, feels like last summer all over again :angry:

well done for playing Greig, I suppose I better get some decent waterproofs and get stuck in

Played two of the games without waterproofs as left them in my father-in-laws car and he was away down to Slaley Hall Weds morning. Got soaked and on Wednesday looked like I had two tone trousers on.

I had the rest of the week off (Wed-today) and haven't played as much as I'd have liked. Wednesday was good with some practice and then a solo round trying a few things on the course. Windy but warm and dry. Lashed it down yesterday and so I hit the range last night instead. Was going to play and practice today but the winds are silly strong. I'm struggling a little with my game at the moment as it is and what I've got I don't want to get blown away and worrying about whether a poor shot was down to me or the conditions. I'll take my chances in the stableford tomorrow and then put in hard graft next week after work in time for Camberely on the 18th
