Great independent golf stores?

For online service it regularly gets spanked but in store it's an Aladins cave and has more bags and shoes and second hand sets than I've ever seen. It's pretty cheap too.

CamGolf at Leighton Buzzard Golf Club offer a great service. A small shop with very friendly staff. The shop is fairly small with limited stock on display (does include the very good Under Armour range), but they are able to source anything you want at competitive prices. I buy most of my golf hardware (three players) from them.

Dont have an indie golf shops near huddersfield (that i know of). Local pro shop at Bradley Park "had" a good selection, but as mentioned in another post, got broken into. not looking good for them really.

Our club shop is very good lots of bargains to be had, pro is a member of foremost golf so is able to compete with most. They also do custom fit with all the right equipment so you know your getting a good service. I had a rattle in a driver I bought off him I was expecting him to send it back not a bit of it just gave me a new head.

I'm a big believer in using independent golf shops as the service you get is always going to be better than you get from the superstores.

I got my irons from an independent retailer. Once they got delivered to him from Mizuno we went through each club one at a time, put impact tape on each club and adjusted the lie angles on each one to make them perfect. He also went through each club checking the loft and had to adjust a couple of them to get them perfect. This was done free of charge and the irons didn't cost me anymore than the superstores where charging.
