Great golf weekend

Thought i would share my weekends golfing experience

I won the Div 1 medal on Saturday with a gross 79 which should have been a 77 but for a "Normanesque" choke of a double on the last. Got cut to 9, first time i have been off single figures for a few years.

Sunday i won a society game. Choked my way to 13 pts on the front but then hit 21pts on the back.

Really pleased overall, particularly as i have only recently changed irons. Then again they are Mizuno, the best forgings in the world

Thanks, i am proud of the medal result. I only hit driver 5 times on what is quite a long course. In all fairness it was the driver that set up the double on the last. If i had hit my 3 iron i would have probably made 6, at worst.

Still, cant grumble

Great golf, glad another forummer is playing well too.

However,

I think you will find the greatest forgings come from China.

Pong irons, Callyway woods, etc. Fantastic stuff.

You may have a point, i may have to change those Mizuno's for a set of Callaway X Forged..........
