Great to see it back. Yes the person who is last always scores well on their pudding to try and raise some fake tension, but just misses out by one point, yes some of the chefs seem to completely miss the brief (that chap from the south east the first week who seemed to completely ignore the fact that the dishes were supposed to have a comic relief theme of some kind) yet still score well whilst lesser known chefs who have hit the brief exactly score poorly, and yes it is horribly biased towards the well established and more famous chefs.

But it's good fun.:)

Being a qualified (and now retired chef) Any kind of cooking programme on the TV, I am there! (except for Jamie Oliver, i think he is a Smiffy) I do like British menu, but at the end of the day, its no british bake off!! Love Mary Berry!!

Have thought some of the more crazy ideas have been good, the scottish guy who did the SPAM packed lunch was great!

I thought that Moroccon goat thing last night looked absolutely lovely, and it wouldn't surprise me if that went all the way.

Haven't watched since they started dragging it out over a whole week. Too many food related programs, lazy schedule filling, saves having to make some decent tele. Only thing worse are the plethora of "antique" programs which always have the same so-called experts.

Not seen it although I do like a good cookery programme. HID becoming a big fan of the Hairy Bikers and their Hairy Dieters incarnation and has been working her way through their cook books. Not adverse to trying her wares. So far a huge success

Well I love it being a bit of a foodie type.

With all the channels available now there is always another channel to view if you do not like what is on one channel. Or do something really mad and press the off button.........

Let's not go OTT you'll be suggesting opening a book next. ;)

Cut two thick slices from a fresh uncut loaf and toast to your liking, meanwhile slam a container of Haricot beans in tomato sauce into the microwave, cover to stop splashes and nuke for two minutes. When the toast is done slather in best butter and top with the now steaming beans. Finish with a grating of Cheddar cheese and a grinding of black pepper. Best served in front of the telly whilst golf is on with a mug of tea/coffee. What do ya reckon, will it get through?

I really enjoy it.

What's surprising is, if that woman chef judge had scored the 1st group that Richard Corrigan did, different chefs would have gone through because one didn't do anything with the brief at all!

Getting into the great bake off also, all depends on the quality of the celebrities a bit though.
