I've been advised to switch to Graphite shafts. As anyone recently moved to Graphite shafts and how did you get on with them?

I changed to graphite shafts after an accident almost stopped my golf. Changing gave me a lighter shaft that I could generate a bit of clubhead speed with. It did take a bit of getting used to, but, certainly worked for me with my slow rhythmic swing. certainly worth trying if it's been suggested by your pro.

I switched to graphites years ago
Wear and tear on my joints , causing me issues , both elbows and shoulder been cortisoned
( nature of job at time didn't help )

Some good quality GRAPHITES around now
Had Recoils and 2 sets with Accra shafts

I use graphite shafts on my clubs. Had a fitting and I think they wanted to try something different so went with them and I just let them do what they wanted really. Didn't cost me anything so who am I to complain?

They work fine for me, I couldn't tell you the difference in all honesty. It's a club, I line it up and hit the ball!

I went to graphite shafts with my last set of clubs last year. After a fitting I settled on the UST Recoil and think they're excellent shafts. It was a bit of a shock but graphite shafts have come on leaps and bounds over the years. They are lighter and provide less shock to my arms.

Got a set of irons which have 'Aldila NV 85-S' shafts in them, they hit superb, I get good accuracy and arrow like ball flight, absolutely no vibration through the shaft and I very rarely miss-hit any of my shots, the only thing is I fitted them to a set of heads that I had kicking around and the heads aren't heavy enough to work the shafts so I don't get a great deal of distance from them...

I changed to graphite when I bought Callaway XR steelheads, they are the stock graphites in regular and they go well when used properly, sadly not a cure for the J Arthurs

arent iron heads all the same weight pretty much

Yes as cast or forged eg most 6 irons weigh just over 260 grammes but it easy to add more weight to the head end to suit the shaft or required swing weight.

I switched the graphite shafts in one set and to lightweight steel and found virtually no difference in performance.

What I had pointed out to me was that with graphite shafts my swing had slowed to less than what was considered senior speeds.

My irons have stiff graphite shafts. Took a little getting used to the lighter weight but love them now.
