I battled on valiantly today but I eventually had to give in to the dreaded Manflu. I may not make the morning, my wife seems to think I'll be OK.....I think she is being optimistic. If I do not survive this debilitating illness then it has been nice to share banter with all of you. Bed for me now wish me luck.

Thank you for the video. I know now there is a chance, slim though it is of recovery. I'm not as lucky as the man in the video however as HID has gone to the supermarket and left me alone I think as I have rang my bell a few times and no-one has answered. For all the well wishers wanting to keep my memory alive by continuing to use my beloved clubs the missus has assured me they will all be available on Ebay with a buy it now price that will be a fraction of their true value....just to help out with funeral expenses and the like.

Had this over new year and is seriously a potential killer. I couldn't move, my nose wouldn't stop streaming and was even bloody at one point, bad cough and chest was in a lot of pain
I did mange to pull though (obviously) but gave up smoking when it got bad and not gone back on yet so not all bad
