According to your clubs website, the pro shop opens at 6.30

It never has since I've been a member! And I often arrive first thing to book tee times for our Tuesday morning group, so I should know.

Does that mean you can play earlier, you just can't book a tee time until 7.34?

What a ridiculous set up. Have you questioned the reasoning behind it? Members can't play until the shop opens? Never heard anything as daft in my life.

Don't believe everything you read on a Club's website Bob! And there can be plenty missing too! The site also mentions 'stimulating challenge....' but, supposedly, the holes are apparently too small and the rough apparently often too long. The site also fails to mention the difficulty of access via its 'Find Us' section!
It does, however, have one of the best post round views though!
Btw. According to the site, that 06:30 start for the Pro Shop (which is inside the clubhouse) is only Friday-Sunday. Other days it states 07:00 opening! Still different from reality though!
Oh, and why a personal appearance should be needed to book a tee time these days - in a Private Member's club - I cannot fathom!

...me too... February has the Royal Porthcawl Winter Open and then our annual pilgrimage to Burnham and Berrow!!
Just to clarify things, you can book on-line 7 days in advance from 07.30 onwards, but you can only book up to 8 players and 2 tee times. Our group has 14 players and requires up to 4 tee times so we have to book that either personally at the pro shop, or by telephone before 07.30.

I understand that's this do due to the Chandler effect - a wobble in the earth's axis of rotation.
