Good music

Hi. I used to love Linkin Park when I was younger. In the recent times, I sort of switched to pop and I don't know my taste in music changed quite a bit. Anyway, I came across Burn it Down yesterday and it reminded me how powerful Linkin Park's songs are. Can anyone recommend any similar songs or bands?

Queens Hall - great live music venue - I've spent many many happy evenings in there over the last 30 years!

This is pretty good.

Doris Brendel is a really underrated singer. Saw her band live as she opened for Fish and his Clutching at Straws Tour as well as doing backing vocals. Well worth checking some of her other stuff

Granted Maiden to a small degree but certainly not Zep. Sabbath, Motörhead, Deep Purple even King Crimson were far heavier than all of the above and more a route into metal. Got to be honest, I don’t hear any Zep in Slayer or Lamb of God or Pantera 😂

Ask any rock drummer who influenced them- Bonzo will be one of them!
Influential lead guitarist- jimmy Page is high on the list
Lead wailer- Robert Plant one of the first

They started a lot of it in the late ‘60s
