Very good indeed.

A gross 75 (+4) nett 65 with only 24 putts - mainly because I missed most of the greens and chipped up to a foot or two almost every time. Did sink a few long ones though. A bit miffed really due to the bogey, bogey finish - caused by some horrendous bounces from the drives. Both times going fairly straight and then one bounce about 75 degrees right into cabbage. There's no justice......

Highlight was a nice chip-in at 16 for a birdie and a birdie at the 525 yard 4th.

Have recorded this round and my previous round on SS2 trial to see what's what. The previous round was a so-so 80 but with 35 putts as the chipping wasn't quite so good.
Main stats from 2 rounds are:-

Fairways hit 42% - Handicap standard 15
GIR 25% - 12
Puts per round 28.5 - Scratch
Birdie Conversion 33% - Pro
Par Scrambles 48% - 3

So apart from the fact I can't hit enough fairways or greens, the rest of it looks quite peachy.
On the whole quite a happy camper. Sorted out my "overdraw/hook" - realised my right hand was getting too far underneath the grip. Bought it back on top and everything goes straight now...

Good man. I got done in a match 5&4 to a 4 handicapper who went round one under gross.

Good going. What do you think of SS2 now that you're using it?

Not sure yet.
Only 2 cards on it and the other stats don't tell me anything I don't know eg I miss 2/3rds of missed fairways to the right, I don't hit too many greens and when I miss it can left, right, long or short.

I'll keep it up for trial period and then take a view. It's a good piece of kit though I do find filling in the card on the way round takes a bit of getting used to.
