Golfing Stag Weekend

Hi My experience of stag weekends is limited (!) but we did have an excellent break at Green Hotel Kinross. they have 2 courses on the doorstep - literally - and the service and food are excellent. Not cheap, but family run, not a chain and it definitely shows. Tip - eat lunch (if required) at the golf club, not in the hotel, but hotel dinner well worth it.
(Night out could be a bit more of a problem, - central Fife not exactly glitzy?)

The belfry. Ok hotel, nice course, and best of all, the BelAir night club. All on the doorstep.

I'd go for that. The Belfry is pretty forgiving for the average handicapper, as long as you don't expect to burn-it-up.

Mikest,

Can obviously recommend Edinburgh for the stag night. Some interesting lap dancing bars, too, if you want that kind of thing!

Quality golf in abundance in East Lothian and pretty much every course welcomes visitors, including my own, Craigielaw. Glen Golf Club already mentioned and there's a video of it in my signature.

My best pal from school is Vice Captain at Dalmahoy...but I have to say you would enjoy other courses in the area more. The big course has a back nine over 4000 yards long and there are no views!

B & B ?
