Golfing in Villamoura

Hi all,

After a great holiday here last year, my brother and I (with girlfriends in tow) are considering renting an apartment for a week and hitting as many of the golf courses in the area as we can.

Does anyone know any companies who handle to golf organising on your behalf, the logistics and prices are pretty high so we'd appreciate any help possible with the idea of playing some of the Oceanico courses very appealing.

Off to Villamoura for a week in May with the lads from the golf club its was booked with supertravel Golf Tel 02079629494 they sorted everthing out flights,hotel, transport to and from the airport / hotel to golf courses, buggy hire,and courses to play

We are only playing 5 days out of 7, it's up to you how much or how little you want to play

We would be going early in September but dates not 100% yet.

At the moment we're looking at booking apartment and flights ourselves. If it is cheaper to do it ourselves, we'd definitely do so. Would Oceanico gives deals to play across their courses?

I contacted them the last 2 years and yes they gave us good deals but it was June.I hunted around and contacted just about every tour operator going and doing it direct was by far the best option for the golf.We also booked the villa and cars ourselves and it all came in way cheaper that going through a tour firm.

Interesting stuff, I always (seemingly wrongly) assumed that the fact these guys have got deals going on for bulk with the courses meant they could secure cheaper rounds.

Really hoping that when he gets around to assessing my quote that he can drop the prices a bit because the Oceanico website undercuts the Algarve Golf website.
