Just wanted to post up about the above company who I dealt with last year with a great service and did so again last week. I had a quote from them for £450 for a set of clubs to buy from me I packaged them up and did a DPD drop off last Friday, they received them on Monday and the cash was in my bank on Tuesday.

Absolutely smooth transaction and one happy customer

I've only bought from them, never sold anything to them. I did email them for a price on something I was selling once though and got a response very promptly.

I sold my naughty sub zero 3 wood to them last year and was impressed by how well the transaction went through

Serendipity or what... I just (10 minutes before this thread started) received a quote from them this afternoon on some irons. I was surprised that golfbidder has come in a decent amount higher - will they mug me off when I accept with some 'not as good as you said' excuse? who knows. Still waiting on affordable golf. I'll report back.

Both golfbidder and golfclubs4cash responded within the hour, which I was impressed by.

They are local to me just outside of Edinburgh and have lots of local customers. They have a very good reputation as being honest brokers. Their warehouse is a treasure trove !

I had no problems whatever, I described the clubs exactly, sweet spot unused and all that, and they were fine. Last year I returned a set of Cobra one length irons after trying them and the money went straight back in my account as per their guarantee

Stay very close to their store. Great selection on display and reasonably priced. I traded in a set of Mizuno MP58S and got a very good price for them Bought a driver from them at excellent price for the spec and had a good buy with an Odyssey putter in the spring. Well worth a browse online or in store if you are around. Only 5 min from Straiton Jn of the city bypass.

Metal x insert did not work for me. I had very poor pace control with it.

White Hot or the latest insert are much better.

Thanks, I have read that after looking into them a bit more. Currently have a Rossa with a similar insert but i'll have to try and give one a go first.

I think the metal x insert is the best feeling odyssey have come out with. Currently use a tour issue model with a metal x insert in it, model wasn't available at retail with this insert. Good putters but a pure milled head without an insert is hard to beat for feel, would love it if odyssey made each putter with an option for no insert

They made the ProType series 5 or 6 years ago.
#2, #3, #6, #7( not the fang version) ,#9 and 2-ball
All pure milled faces - not an insert in sight.

Yip, 15 mins up the road from me, Aladdin's cave for golfers. Picked up a as new Kuro Kage shaft for my driver. I would hazard a guess they have about every iron and driver under the sun.
